What Is Yelp?

To quote the Yelp website “Yelp allows consumers to share the experiences they’ve had with local businesses and lets business owners share information about their business with their customers. Simply put, it’s word of mouth– amplified.”

Yelp allows businesses to create a listing for their company that can be searched by potential customers to see what others have had to say about the goods or services offered.  It can also be accessed by current customers to leave feedback or reviews.  This is a great way to showcase what you do and who you are.  Plus it’s a great tool to see what your customers think of you so that you know what you’re doing right and what you might want to improve upon.  Click here for the yelp business page.

Yelp has also created a great phone app to compliment their web service that can show potential customers where your business is and give information while on the go.  Click here for the yelp mobile app page.  I love this app.
